BUYING GUIDE

How to compare press brake models

Read beyond the model name when building your shortlist.

01

Check force and working length together

Working length describes the available bending length; required force also depends on material, thickness, tooling and the bending method. A capacity table alone cannot validate an unknown part.

02

Review the available space

Compare opening height, stroke, throat depth and distance between frames where available. Check the intended tools and the full bend sequence.

03

Confirm the configuration

Distinguish standard equipment from optional tooling, controls and handling equipment. Use the final technical agreement as the record of the delivered configuration.

04

Validate your critical parts

Request a technical review or discuss sample validation for demanding geometry and tolerances. Do not infer guaranteed results from a general model specification.
