BUYING GUIDE

What to include in your equipment inquiry

A practical checklist for a useful first technical discussion.

01

Start with the part

Specify material grade, thickness and finished dimensions. Include bend geometry or cutting drawings when available. Send confidential drawings directly by email after initial contact.

02

Describe the production task

State the batch size, expected mix of parts and the steps before and after the operation. Explain which requirement matters most: geometry, finish, handling or changeover.

03

List site conditions

Tell us the destination country, available electrical supply, space limitations and any known handling restrictions. Do not assume that all configurations use the same utilities.

04

Separate requirements from preferences

Identify mandatory specifications and optional preferences. This makes it easier to compare quotations on equivalent terms.
